    wow! i haven’t been able to hear my grandpas voice since he was alive. thank you so much this is a great movie! i love the music.

    Wonderful movie. I recognized 5-yr old Larry Steimle with the sail boat trophy, the dug-out canoe (now in a museum…without the dragon’s head), and I think the wooden dingy and a canvass canoe. Catalina Island didn’t appear to change much from ’41 to ’82 when I visited. Wish I was near the water!
